Mallorca apartment terrace with sea views and natural Mediterranean materials

What started as a compact space quickly became a playground for ideas—and we loved every minute of it. When you’re working with a view like this, everything else has to match the energy. From the artwork we handpicked to the vintage textiles we painted ourselves (yes, really!), every choice was made to ensure the space was more than just a room—it had to feel like a reflection of the surroundings.

We approached every detail with intention—oak kitchen cabinets with rounded corners to soften the space, woven chairs to add texture and warmth, and lime paint applied with painterly brushstrokes to give the walls a handmade feel. The imperfections in the paint are exactly what make the room feel alive, breathing personality into every corner.

We worked with a few restrictions along the way—like the Macael marble floors—but instead of seeing them as a challenge, we embraced them. Restrictions can push creativity, and in this case, they led us to elevate the design in unexpected ways. Plus, having Sylvie, our project manager, keeping everything on track was key, as was working with clients who were decisive and fully engaged throughout.

The experience of collaborating with our clients was a joy. They were decisive, always on hand to make choices, and fully trusted us to bring the design to life. Their clear vision for the space and quick decisions gave us the creative freedom to bring our best ideas forward.

In a project this fast-paced, the energy was everything. The collaboration between our team and the clients kept things moving, and the result is a space that feels like it’s been here forever—yet entirely ours.

The result? Thoughtful, personal, and filled with materials that don’t compete, but instead quietly complement each other, coming together in a way only we could envision.
