S'Almadrava
30 cm x 50 cm

  • NEW!! We looked for years to find linen with the natural, nubby & distinctive texture of vintage fabrics, and here it is: our vintage loomed linen. We are beyond pleased with the result. We hand paint each of our designs for depth of color & to showcase the uniqueness of this texture-rich surface. Each piece is one-of-a-kind. The irregularities in color and finishing are a desired effect and give these pieces their special character. The pillow front has substantial weight & structure so it sits up squarely on a couch or bed. Pillow back made with pre-washed new linen and an invisible zipper.

  •  30 cm x 50 cm // 12 inches x 20 inches

We prefer our pillows to be robust and sit with structure, so we recommend feather inserts. Please message us if you have questions about what kind of feather insert we recommend, or click over to pillow inserts for more on U.S.-based retailers who carry our favorite feather inserts.

  • Your espanyolet pillow cover may arrive wrinkled and creased, which is normal for vintage linen. We love the irregularities of this antique material, but if you desire a flatter finish, simply hold a low-heat iron over the linen to press out. More on shipping here.

  • Hand wash in cold water with mild detergent for delicate fabrics. Line dry. Or better yet, dry clean. We recommend handling our linens with care to preserve the subtlety of our hand-mixed colors and hand painted brushstrokes.
